THE RULES
1. Ask First - Never go near water without asking a grown-up first.
2. The Water Watcher - A grown-up watches you the whole time, close enough to touch you.
3. Buddies - Never swim alone. Always take a buddy.
4. Where the Lifeguard Can See - Swim in front of the lifeguard, where someone is watching.
5. The Real Thing - On a boat or at the lake, wear a real life jacket. Floaties are just toys.
6. Feet First - Feet first, and walk in slowly. Never jump into water you cannot see through.
7. The Drain - Stay far away from the drain at the bottom of the pool.
8. Thunder Means Out - Thunder means everybody out of the water. Right away.
9. Bath Time Is Water Time - Bath time is water time. A grown-up stays in the room.
10. Reach or Throw, Don't Go - Shout for a grown-up. Reach or throw, don't go in.
