THE STEPS
1. A Sitter Is Coming - A babysitter is a grown-up who takes care of you.
2. Meet Jamie First - Meet the sitter first. Mom is there, too.
3. The Usual Routine - A usual evening: dinner, then bath, then bed.
4. Rules and a Phone Number - Parents tell the sitter how to reach them.
5. A Goodbye Hug - A goodbye hug is the same every time.
6. Big Feelings Are OK - Missing Mom is OK. Big feelings get smaller.
7. Fun with Jamie - A fun game helps time go fast.
8. The Usual Bedtime - Bedtime stays the same, even with a new sitter.
9. Mom Is Back - Mom comes back, just as she promised.
10. Next Time Is Easier - Goodbyes get easier with practice.
