THE STEPS
1. Stay Calm, Get a Grown-Up - Get hurt? Stay calm and get a grown-up.
2. Wash It Clean - Wash the scrape with soap and water.
3. Press and Don't Peek - Press with a clean cloth. Don't peek.
4. Cover It Up - Cover the scrape with a clean bandage.
5. Nose: Lean Forward - Nosebleed? Sit up and lean forward, not back.
6. Pinch and Wait - Pinch the soft part of your nose and hold. Don't let go to check.
7. Cool Water for a Small Burn - Small burn? Cool water, not ice, for about ten minutes.
8. Don't Pop It - A blister is a shield. Don't pop it.
9. Bee Sting - Bee sting? Tell a grown-up to take out the stinger.
10. Trouble Breathing? 9-1-1 - Trouble breathing? Call 9-1-1 right away.
