THE RULES
1. Thunder? Go Inside - Hear thunder? Go inside a building right away.
2. Hear It? It's Close - If you can hear thunder, the storm is close enough. Stay in.
3. Wait Thirty Minutes - Wait thirty minutes after the last thunder. Then go back out.
4. Away From the Windows - In a storm, stay away from windows and doors.
5. No Bath in a Storm - In a thunderstorm, no bath, no shower, no sink.
6. Down and In - Tornado? Go down low, to an inside room with no windows.
7. Not the Gym - At school, go to the inside hallway, not a big open room.
8. Turn Around - Turn around at flood water. Never walk or swim in it.
9. Stronger Than You - Moving water is stronger than you. Stay out.
